Írjon visszajelzéstWe visited The Olde Peculiar when travelling through Handsacre on our narrowboat. We visited for drinks and an evening meal and we chose two meals from the specials board, I had the homemade chicken casserole with mash and peas, my husband had the minted lamb balti. My casserole was lovely and I really enjoyed it, the minted lamb balti, however, was exceptional and I hope they continue to offer this one on a regular basis. The pub is dog friendly with a good selection of well kept ales, they have friendly and attentive staff and without doubt we will visit The Olde Peculiar next time we pass through the area.
Very pleasant old fashion charm, comfortable rooms, food adequate and won our golf match!! If up that way again would definitely stay there again.
Stayed overnight while undertaking a solo trip of the area. The accommodation was very comfortable and the pub/restaurant was very friendly and welcoming. Staff were very accommodating especially Claire who went above and beyond to ensure a pleasurable stay. I enjoyed a delicious evening meal as well as a hearty breakfast which set me up for the day. Highly recommended.
Stayed at this lovely 17th century coaching inn for one night on route to Scotland. Room was lovely and clean. Had food in evening and the lamb shank was to die for. My husband really enjoyed his lamb balti also!! My husband commented on the range and quality of the drinks after sampling most of them!!! A very interesting selection away from the normal offerings in most pubs. Breakfast was also top notch and the guys serving very friendly. Would definitely recommend and will stay again if ever in area. Thank you. Marjorie and Stuart.
Highly recommend staying and eating here. Breakfasts are served freshly made and staff are extremely friendly and keen to ensure your stay is perfect. Accommodation works brilliantly for our family. Have also eaten numerous great meals here too and looking forward to return stays. Thank you for making us feel welcome and looking after us.
