The Pear Tree Creperie - Lichfield

Fantastic meal for the family. We had onion soup, baked Camembert for starters; ham/cheese galettes and Ferraro Roche crepes!

I come here fairly regularly and have always found the staff very friendly and competent. I usually go for the savoury menu (just personal preference) and have really enjoyed each dish I’ve tried. The menu is different from most eateries around Lichfield with a very French focus, which is very welcome. It is usually well attended so advisable to book a table. Recommend.

Can't comment on food as just had coffee. Staff were absolutely lovely. Attentive and smiling the whole time. We hadn't booked and quite a few tables were reserved and this was on a Wednesday so I would advise to pre book. We were seated on a reserved table but just had to be gone by the time of the reservation which was fine. Didn't use the facilities. Coffee nice. Decor lovely. Would visit again.

Arrived at lunchtime today.. escorted to a table upstairs which was very bare and unwelcoming.. it was freezing .. too cold to sit comfortably to eat .. no one came to take our order for over 15 mins so we left. I know heating is costly but I expect to be able to eat a meal in comfort not in my coat and gloves. We saw others sitting in their coats and wearing gloves No welcoming at all.

Really nice place for lunch. Much improved menu from the last time we came (pre Covid). Lovely atmosphere, very welcoming and cosy. Stilton Galette was delicious. Good coffee too. Would recommend and will try to come more often. Nice little shops to browse round too.
