Deli Bread Connection - Lihue

This is a MUST at any time when we're back on Kauai. The TOPSS is my favorite of the options. It is really hard to nail what makes bread and Delis sandwiches so amazing, but it must be a combination of the great bread they make in the shop and the high-quality ingredients. We have eaten literally here for decades and it was consistently good all the time.

Wow! I thought my sandwich days were done when I was out of school, but this delicacy brought me back right away. You have tons of options and the bread is some of the softest I had. Sandwich?

It was pretty busy but the service was spot on the 20 minute wait was worth it for those 2 Lobster ? rolls a large clam chowder. It was super moist delicious. I would recommend calling in your order ahead of time.

The best sandwich I had in Hawaii. So many signature sandwiches and fresh ingredients... must be back soon. definitely recommend.

Over all I would have to say that we enjoyed our lunch here. My wife and son split a pastrami on rye. They said it was good, but not the best one they had ever had. I had the megalodon and it was exceptional.
