The Local Kauai, Kitchen - Lihue

This restaurant deserves every one of its five-star reviews—it's an absolutely remarkable place. It's the best dining experience we've had in Kauai and in Hawaii overall. The carrot salad was incredible and wonderfully creative, while the sausage pizza had a perfect crust and was delightfully creamy. The atmosphere was fantastic, featuring great live music that truly enhanced the experience. The waitstaff were excellent, and it was heartwarming to see children dancing with their grandparents, joined by the staff. It was a perfect meal, and I wish we could have tried more dishes. If you're considering it, just go—you won’t regret it!

This is a fantastic place! The bar area has a wonderful aroma of freshly juiced ginger. While the happy hour menu isn't extensive, it's very thoughtfully curated. I tried the falafel burger, and I can't wait to return and have it again!

The food and drinks were fantastic! We tried the empanadas and falafel, and I highly recommend both. Our bartender was very friendly and made us feel at home, chatting with everyone at the bar. While it’s a bit pricier, the exceptional taste and quality make it worth it, especially since most ingredients are sourced locally.

We went here for a night with dinner and drink and it was so great! for 3 drinks and 2 Margherita pizzas ended the bill over $100, but everything was so good it was hard to be crazy, ha ha ha. we had a cocktail with actiw charcoal that was unscrupuled, but my fave was definitiw the pineapple martini (which I had ordered now) we didn't come in a night when there was live music, but we went past a few times during our visit and it sounded great!

Locally sourced ingredients are the name of the game at this establishment that draws locals and visitors alike. The drink menu provides for fresh juices and local spirits versus the usual canned products and macro-oriented liquor. Both bar and table seating available. Great local live duo singling and playing on my Sunday night visit.
