Very caring doctor and nurse. Dr Kwon and nurse Christine were fantastic and very friendly. I felt very comfortable and cared for. The blood tests were stressful but overall, amazing care

Came into the ER at about 2 AM for my wife who had sever constipation, the nurses who tried to help her were very rude and aggressive, mostly this male nurse, his name is John but couldn 't remeber his last name, on the darker side, Filipino appearance with black hair and a military hair cut. After stating she needed a xray or cat scan to see her digestion she was told she would need blood work, and some kind of liquid highlighter for this specific cat scan. After she refused because she was certain she didn 't need to have any injections they attempted to proced with injecting her until she physically pushed his hand away from her arm, he then ripped off the blue tie band from her arm, threw the needle on her and said in a noticeably irritated way mame you need to make a desition right now and stop wasting our time. After she said for the 3rd time she refuses to be injected he said that he 's going to discharge her since she won 't let him give her the care she needs. After the rude nurse leaves the charge nurse see 's my wife crying and asked her whats wrong, she explained everything and she got the doctor. The doctor then stated that she never needed any injection and that she only needs a xray and a flush. She still was discharged because there were no other nurses available. On her way out the rude nurse then yells don 't ever come back The charge nurse and the doctor were both very professional, and the charge nurse even comforted my wife like a real nurse should, but this nurse John needs an attitude adjustment, if you are in the line of medical care you need to realize not all patients are necessarily excited to be there, and they need to be treated with more respect, kindness and understanding. Not irritation and agression. Not to mention the way they were taling about my wife in the hall way saying how she 's so stubborn and only came in to waste everyone 's time.

The doctors and ER was good but me and my friend who are both teens traveled by our selves to Kauai from the mainland and I ended up very sick in the hospital our hotel was a hour away so in the ER the doctor called and okayed for my friend to sleep in the room with me the next day the nurse was so rude and also never on time with anything. Joanne Davila never came in on time with any of my meds I waited 3 hours for pain meds after I called multiple times but she was on time exactly to kick my friend out and she wouldn’t let her anywhere in the hospital not even a waiting room so she has to sit outside from 7:00 pm to 10:00 am. Joanne Davila Also was very rude and when I said our hotel was a hour away she said no it’s not all snarky like she knew where we were even staying.

I went into the ER by ambulance for extreme pain in my pelvis and numbness and cramping in my arms and legs. I was seen by Dr. Conrad and he “joked” about how not too many people come by ambulance for period cramps and I was probably doing it for attention. I’m not sure how I was supposed to stand up let alone drive to the hospital when I couldn’t feel my legs. I realize he was joking and maybe just trying to make me feel better however it left me feeling like I wasn’t being taken seriously because it was period related. Especially after reading all the excellent reviews from other folks who came in for abdominal pain and were treated professionally without any “jokes”. He did not give me any sort of diagnosis beyond “period pain” and suggested I take some ibuprofen next time.On the bright side, the nurses and the rest of the staff were excellent. The nurses took amazing care of me and made me feel very comfortable. I was also seen quickly

I was treated in emergency on Sunday April 16 between 8:30 and 3:30 for extreme abdominal pain and excessive vomiting. The staff was phenomenal. Very caring professional and knowledgeable. Except for the lengthy stay my experience was stellar. I can go back to Seattle as scheduled. Thank you.
