Fat Jack's Pizza - Lima

I tried Fat Jack's pizza for the first time today, and it was really good. The cheese was delicious, and overall, the pizza tasted great. However, when I called the Lima location on Findlay Road, the person who answered was rude and hung up on me without saying goodbye. When I arrived to pick up my food, I waited about five minutes while the person at the register chatted with a customer about job opportunities and Facebook. Once I got home, I took a bite of my sub and noticed the bottom was burnt, looking like a black basketball court. Despite the good pizza, I won’t be returning.

I’m not a fan of their pizza, but I absolutely love the chicken ranch bacon wrap. Bartender Toni is fantastic! It's a great little neighborhood spot to visit. However, I wanted to mention that during our visit last night, we had to sit at a table where our server, Rudica, wasn't very pleasant. She seemed a bit unkempt and brought out both the appetizer and main course at the same time, which was a little frustrating. Maybe she was just having a rough day, but still, it's important to remember that tipping is part of the job.

If you are looking for a heartier pizza with balanced flavors, Fat Jack's is for you. The toppings blend nicely, the crust is perfectly crisp yet not too crunchy, and the staff eager to please. We have eaten here numerous times over the years, and have never been disappointed.

Sometimes, this is the best pizza you'll find across the states. Other times, it appears to be made by a toddler. How is one piece normal size, and the one beside it an 8x10?! Or, ask me how much I love to have my toppings in one heaping pile in just one area of my pizza. You might even get lucky and get a pizza about 5 minutes before it should be pulled out of the oven. Why do I keep coming back here? Because, in all of the states that I have been, and all of the pizza that I've had, SOMETIMES this place has the best pizza of all. I just wish they could get some consistency.

Incredibly disappointing...the parking lot is usually packed...pizza isn't as good as Tombstone frozen pizza Ham sub had 1 thin slice of ham... Again, very disappointing Don't waste your time or
