The Buttery, Bedford Row - Limerick

This was my first visit to The Buttery, and I must say I was thoroughly impressed. The service and staff are exceptional, and the food is fantastic. The decor creates a relaxed atmosphere, and the seating is very comfortable. I tried the brunch bun, which I highly recommend—it's incredibly delicious. My empty plate says it all! I’m looking forward to returning and trying something new.

We visited Buttery for an office team lunch, and I must say, the food is absolutely delicious. The restaurant has seating for around 5 to 6 people. It's important to make a reservation at least 2 hours before your arrival time, as they don’t seem to accommodate walk-in customers very well. One of my colleagues attempted to book a table for 5 about 45 minutes before we planned to arrive but was unable to reach them by phone, so we left a voicemail. We also sent an email but unfortunately never received a response. After several attempts to call, we finally managed to secure a reservation. I ordered the Chicken Caesar salad, and it was stunning, both in appearance and flavor. Honestly, it was the best Caesar salad I've ever had!

The staff here are truly friendly and welcoming. The syrup is served in a charming little container, but unfortunately, the pancakes were quite chewy and bland, which I didn’t enjoy. However, I highly recommend the chocolate milkshake—it’s fantastic! The coffee is also notably better than what you typically find in most places in Ireland.

We were there for brunch and on a tight time table. We had 8 people and our food got right out. It was delicious and the servers were very nice. I recommend the misfit and the cinnamon roll. The chai lattes were also fantastic.

We had a great breakfast the first day we arrived in Limerick. My wife still talks about the eggs Benedict and how everything else is not as good as it. Great service. Quick and delicious food.
