Kenko Sushi - Lincoln Park

Kenko Sushi is, without a doubt, the best sushi I have ever had. I have been here or ordered from them over 50 times, and every single order has been perfect. The new location is larger and the waiting times are not as long. Every roll I've tried has been great, especially the Godzilla roll. My recent To-go order, the k4 combo, is a great value with two huge special rolls for about $19. The diabolical circle and sweet potato tempura are long-time favorites of mine. The only downside is that Kenko is currently only handling takeout orders through their app due to COVID. Sit-down service includes a free dessert, a fish-shaped ice cream cone with vanilla ice cream and a chocolate syrup layer. I hope they can return to normal service soon. Trust me, if you're thinking about opening a sushi restaurant within 10 miles of Kenko, think again.

It's all about the special rolls. I was blown away by the taste, the serving size, yet the low price. Incredible! This is the best sushi takeout place, hands down.

I finally found a place that serves boba milk teas and a great selection of sushi. Plus lots of desserts. They have Bento boxes, poke bowls, bubble waffle ice cream, milk tea, fruit tea, float tea, smoothie fruit veggies, sushi rolls and pressed torch sushi. I'm in love. So far The Volcano Roll is my favorite item.

So we stopped by and got a paper menu. We make a selection and call the number on the menu. Voice message says only take out service available but no telephone orders. Order by website, app, or e-mail to [email protected] So Muggins sends an e-mal with Menu Items and names. Include phone number to be advised of pickuop time. After 40 minutes and no call and no e-mail response Muggins goes to Kenko Sushi location and asks Asian receptionist about the order. She looks puzzled and looks at her computer. Oh, we don't take e-mail order ! But your voice mail says that you do. We don't take e-mail order and we are closed now. But !!! No buts we are closed now. So where does one go at 8:00 PM for dinner in Lincoln Park NJ. ????? KENKO SUSHI NJ could not care less where you go because you can't read minds.
