Village Inn Pizza Parlor - Lincolnton

I honestly don't understand how this place has multiple locations. Very cheap pizza. The cheese has barely any taste, almost taste like plastic. The delivery was delayed 3 times. By the time my pizza arrived it was cold. The wings were dry with barely any sauce on them. Even my daughte and my sin did not like the pizza. Would not recommend.

Pizza buffet with an ok selection of pizza and pasta. They also have a well stocked salad bar as well as soup. Super nice folks were working during my visit. They ensured pizza was available the entire time I was there. The only reason for 4 stars rather than 5 is due to the price (nearly $15 for buffet and tea). At that price point, the toppings were a little skimpy.

It is a kind of fun place to get a quick meal. Family oriented. Pizza, soup, salad, and soft drinks. Things that go along with a pizza parlor. You don't have an upscale dress code. Usually t-shirt, jeans, and tennis shoes. You will probably see someone you know there getting a quick bite to eat also. Easy into the restaurant and easy out if you are in a hurry. I will eat there again.

The salad bar was decent. The pizza, not so much. It was very thin, with hardly any sauce. The toppings were ok. We opted for the buffet so maybe they skimp on the buffet pizzas. I only had a salad but my grown boys had the pizza weren't impressed. This will be a one done trip for us.

One thing is for sure the air conditioning works, almost too well so bring a jacket! The staff were super friendly and kept the pizzas rolling out at a steady pace. The quality of food was excellent and they had the best salad bar I've seen in a while. All the veggies were fresh and they had a really nice variety of toppings. The dining area and bathrooms were clean and well maintained. Kudos and keep up the good work!
