I highly recommend avoiding this place! The food was disgusting. When I went there with my cousin, there were flies everywhere - on the food, the walls, and the floor, which were all dirty. To make matters worse, a woman used the same gloves she handled my food with to pick up a phone and a purse! Service: Takeout Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $1–10

I typically make a point to stop here during my commutes to visit family. Over the years, the building itself hasn’t changed much, but the food consistently impresses me. The service embodies the true spirit of Southern hospitality, and it's both expected and appreciated. You won’t be let down by the quality or the portion sizes. If you find yourself in the Deep South, be sure to visit this hidden gem.

I’ve been to this location twice in the last few months while working in Marengo Co. the first time there were only two employees and the second time, 3. However, both times I was greeted with smiles and while it did probably take a few minutes longer to get my food, they were courteous and friendly and CLEARLY working non stop to take care of the steady flow of customers, both inside and in the drive thru. Businesses are struggling to keep workers right now so if you go somewhere and they only have a few employees give them a break! THOSE workers are WORKING and generally doing double or triple the work they’re getting paid for bc they’re making up for the person who didn’t come in.
