Totally overrated restaurant. Food was as average as a mediocre restaurant in Portugal.. nothing special. It is a mistery how it is in first place...

We had high expectations since we heard rumors of good food. And we know portuguese food well. We ordered the cataplana and the tuna steak. And a bottle of alenteijo white. The waiting for the food made us order an entry of cheese and meat cuts. The food was good. Not fab but good. The wait however was the one dragging it all down. Maybe next time we dinner earlier.

I highly recommend this restaurant for anyone that wants to enjoy life to the fullest. The restaurant has a luxuary interior and the staff makes you feel right at home. Three favorites I higly recommend are: Folhado de queijo de cabra com nózes mel, flaky puff pastry with goat cheese, honey and walnuts. Lumbo de vitela alfama, tender and perfectly cooked tournedó of veal with a mushroom sauce and homemade fries. A dish for everyone. Pastel de nata, a eggcreme filled pastry with vanilla, lemon and cinnamon. A treat that needs to be experienced.
