A Muralha Tasca Tipica - Lisboa

Popular restaurant on a side street away from the main area in Alfama, but very close to Museu do Fado. It was recommended to us and we could see why the food is amazing, the staff is welcoming and the prices are friendly . Also, the restaurant is cosy inside and lovely outside, whatever the preference (there was just a table inside for us and we were grateful for that)All four of us had different mains, we shared a little starter (garlic prawns) just to nibble on something before our food came, we didn't want to spoil our appetite... it didn't and it left us wanting for more, which was a good omen for the mains. We were not disappointed there, each and every one of them soooo tasty! The house wine was pretty good too! And the sangria... would definitely return on a future trip to Lisbon, and most certainly recommend to anyone looking for a nice meal at a reasonable price.

This restaurant is the best for authentic Portuguese food and great value. Fish is all fresh, great selection of dishes and wine. The beer is brewed by the owner and is great. Mixed grill seafood, seabass, prawns in garlic and oil, seafood rice soup..Just a few of my favourites. We had lunch and dinner, each time very busy but worth the wait..Benjamin the waiter is the best. 5 Stars

We came upon this restaurant during our food tour. Out of all the restaurants we visited on the food tour, this was by far my favourite restaurant. Everything we ate here was delicious from the homemade jam to the cheeses to the veal sandwich. A true authentic Portuguese food experience for your taste buds! I wanted to come back here later on in our trip, but we ran out of time and never made it back. On my next trip to Lisbon, I will definitely be coming to dine here. Highly recommend!

Adorei tudo sobre este lugar. Encontramos o lugar enquanto passávamos por perto, estou feliz por termos encontrado, definitivamente voltaremos na próxima vez. Tivemos um assento sem reserva, a equipe foi muito simpática, as porções eram tão generosas e deliciosas e era realmente acessível. Espero que você continue com o bom trabalho! Parabéns!

O melhor é o serviço, todos muito atenciosos sempre, comida ótima, preço adequado, recomendo os grelhados, omeletes acompanhado por um bom vinho num lugar bem agradável e que resguarda uma tradição quase centenária.
