Aqui Na Praca - Lisboa

This quiet little restaurant is a great spot for date night. My wife and I loved our gourmet burgers (mine had a drippy fried egg, and hers was topped with goat cheese, walnuts honey), along with a pitcher of delicious homemade sangria. Service was excellent and we thought that the prices were quite reasonable. Highly recommended!

Aqui is the perfect petiscos stop in the late afternoon after your day of adventures in the City. We ordered Sagres beers and caipirinhas with the tostas de frango (chicken sandwich) and roasted green peppers (Padrone peppers), wow! Went back the third night in Lisboa for a repeat. This is nonsense place, humble, they let you be, and you can just relax and enjoy the view and the food. Bruno explained to us all about the peppers, nice servers, right prices with a neighborhood feel. Perfect.

We sat inside with lovely music and were served on colorful wooden placemats. The food was outstanding! On a summer evening with no AC, it was still fantastic with a little humidity, because you know you are in an older city in a foreign country and you have a good attitude about all of that. The food was delicious and the environment and people were so welcoming. The mint lemonade was refreshing with no sugar or ice. Yummy and healthy! (That’s how it comes and I didn’t ask for it to be anything other than how they make it. The yogurt dressing dip for the sandwich was so good and I kept thinking, it must be full of good gut culture. (I kept thinking that all on my own because I wanted it to be true. Five Stars is because they are authentic and clean and cute and delicious. It doesn’t have to be fancy to be five stars for me. Just has to fulfill the expectations. Obrigada! Oh and I can’t forget the specific shout out to Gazpacho soup! I normally don’t leave reviews and I didn’t look up this place for reviews..we were just in the neighborhood. I have sought out places due to reviews in the past, to experience much regret. Trip advisor has been super untrustworthy for me but it may help someone in this case.
