Mr Mozzarella - Lismore

I visited Mr Mozzarella in Lismore and was disappointed to learn that they were out of vegan pepperoni for their vegan pizza. Instead, they replaced it with Quorn mince, which contains egg, without informing me during the 15 minutes I waited for my pizza. It was a Tuesday night and the store was not very busy. I had eaten two slices before realizing the substitution and called the store to inquire about the ingredients. Unfortunately, nobody initially knew what had happened, but eventually, someone was able to tell me about the replacement and read me the ingredients. Additionally, I found the cheese on the garlic bread to be questionable.

I was pleasantly surprised to discover that there is a pizza shop in Lismore that offers a variety of vegan options, including vegan cheese. I decided to try a vegan pizza and a vegan dessert pizza, both of which exceeded my expectations. Since then, I have returned multiple times to try new additions such as a vegan margarita, cheesy garlic bread, churros with chocolate sauce, and vegan sorbet. The owner assured me that they take cross contamination seriously and use separate gloves and cutting equipment. I highly recommend this place over Domino's!

I had almost given up on pizza, but then I tried Mr Mozzarella's vegan pizza. Pizza usually makes me think of greasy cheese and soggy crust, but Mr Mozzarella's pizza was different. My friend and I tried the "Veggie Patch" and "Cheesy Vegan" pizzas and were pleasantly surprised by how good they were. The vegan pizza was especially delicious. I would definitely recommend giving it a try.

The first pizza I got from here was awesome! However, I have bought pizza from here 3 more times since and everytime it has been really soggy, still tastes good but it kind of ruins it. I would also like to be able change other pizzas to be vegan by substituting with the vegan cheese but it costs an extra $4 when you do it that way so ends up being too expensive : It would also be good if they had a vegan meal deal or something like they do for the other pizzas... FYI: There are two vegan pizzas to choose from. They have vegan cheese, vegan peperoni and a vegan green chilli mayo swirl, and you can also get vegan churros with vegan chocolate sauce. A native told me that this was the best pizza in the city, he wasn't wrong. we have family-sized garlic lamb, woman and I loved it. children loved the BBQ chicken.
