Shake's Frozen Custard - Little Rock

A little drive thru. They have Vanilla and Chocolate soft serve custard (like rich ice cream), that can be used in several ways. Approximately 10 toppings, banana splits in a tall cup, sundaes, concretes (blizzards), rich shakes

I absolutely adore their milkshakes. They can customize it with anything you want. My top choice is the banana shake with pecans and whipped cream. So delicious.

I had to rate my experience at Shake's tonight a 2.5 out of 5 stars. The line was moving slow, but I didn't mind. I just rolled down the windows, opened the sunroof, and relaxed. I've had a drive-thru job before and I know that sometimes it takes time to get fresh food. What bothered me was how the employees handled the long line. I pulled up next to the door on the side, right before the menu, and an employee opened the door and stared at me without saying a word. I assumed I was supposed to order, so I did, but they didn't acknowledge or repeat my order. They just shut the door with no explanation. The lack of communication was surprising, as the employees there are usually friendly. Treating customers with respect is important, even if you're having a bad night.

I visited this restaurant today just to get a simple cone. The staff here are friendly and genuinely nice. When I received my 2-scoop cone, I was pleasantly surprised by how large the portions were! It was very satisfying and delicious. It reminded me of the cones I used to have in my childhood. Most places usually serve soft serve or yogurt, but this was like going to a traditional ice cream shop in my old neighborhood. Thank you, Shakes, for the amazing experience!

I'm giving them five stars because of the extreme amount of traffic and Rush that they overcome every single time I'm up there! I would be stressed to the max with the constant flow of cars, like a parade but they tend to be very nice and nine times out of10 the order is going to be perfect! There's one girl that works there that is one of the hardest workers I've seen in a longtime and I respect hard work! She runs out to the car gets your order and brings it back and I had mine ate before we even gotto the window, she's awesome I wish I knew her name!
