Sullivan’s Steakhouse Little Rock

I really like this restaurant and found everything to be quite reasonable. However, I would recommend a thorough cleaning. The windows at our table were dusty, and the wine glasses had some spots on them. The waitstaff was friendly and attentive, but overall, the place could use a better tidying up.

To make matters worse, after my first glass of sweet tea, they ran out of it. Who runs out of sweet tea in Arkansas? I frequently dine at upscale restaurants and was looking forward to sharing a wonderful meal with my family here. Unfortunately, many things went wrong. Early in the evening, I dropped my napkin and ended up sharing one with my wife, as the server was rarely at our table long enough for me to request another. The appetizers were good, and the salads and soups were decent too, but the steaks and chicken were subpar. Additionally, my wife and son were never offered a second glass of wine or whiskey, and the soft drinks also ran out of sweet tea. To top it off, my cup was refilled with dirty water after I had accidentally dropped some sauce inside it—no one seemed to notice. We weren’t even approached about dessert. In total, we spent $700, but we won’t be returning.

Both steaks were very over cooked. Minimum 20 -30 minute wait between courses and after ordering cocktails. Spent over 2 hours at dinner, mostly just waiting around. Our waitress was trying her best running food orders and making drinks behind the bar. Overall food was not worth the price, especially with steak being the main attraction. Cannot recommend to friends.

The food was excellent. Our waitress was one of six staff members on duty, and we felt for her because she was working hard to ensure we received our drinks, refills, and meals promptly. The entire staff was very busy. The steak was tender and expertly seasoned. I would definitely dine here again.

Great food and exceptional drinks. Service was responsive and seated fast.
