We have eaten here two other times and it is always good. Great food, very good service, and a nice ambiance.
Had lunch at Lariat lodge and it was decent. We ordered fish and chips, deviled eggs and a caesar salad. The deviled eggs tasted pretty artificial but the fish and chips were pretty good. The portion size was good as well. Caesar salad was fine. Their cocktails are okay but also had a bit of artificial taste to them, not sure if it was the simple syrup or what but the last sip was pretty bad. Server was great though.
I’m came to town for work. I’ve eaten here 4 times and had 4 different meals. The bison burger, pot roast, elk burger, and meatloaf. All are great but my favorite is the Bison burger. The brussel spouts are not the norm. They’re amazing. Service is solid, always kept my drink full and friendly.Highly recommended
We used to dine at Lariat Lodge Littleton (LLL) several times a week as we both loved the ambiance, beer selection and their excellent menu selections. However beginning early this summer and ever since, the owner has mandated that their air conditioning not be used until the restaurant reaches a temperature somewhere in the mid 80’s. I recall one day a few weeks ago where is was 85 degrees in the restaurant and the air conditioning was not running. Instead, the penny pinching owner directed the restaurant’s staff to open all the doors to cool the restaurant in lieu of running the air conditioning to save on electrical costs. Leaving the doors open to cool the restaurant doesn’t work when it’s 90F+ outside. Additionally leaving all the doors open allows insects to get into the restaurant along with allergens which cause respiratory issues with people who have Asthma and allergies. The owner has no regard for his customers and employees comfort and health when he directs his employees to open the doors and not run the cooling just to save a buck.
