Super fresh sushi in Denver? Huh? Whaaa? But true blue, here it is. Cool staff and fun to sit at the bar. Owner is very friendly and treats all guests like they are regulars. Check out the omakase. The king salmon and uni are ????

1st time eating at a sushi place and this place is wonderful has great ambience the people are extremely friendly and the food is fantastic. I would recommend this on the evening that you just want to relax with your party and eat some sushi and explore the options they have for there are many. Walk-ins are welcome

The interior is clean and pleasant, and the sushi is outstanding—I had the omakase, which featured high-quality fish that I highly recommend. The staff, including the chef and owner, were very friendly. My wife and I had a fantastic experience at Makizushico. It's our favorite sushi restaurant in Denver!

The seafood appetizers were outstanding. The fish was incredibly fresh, and my favorite dish was the salmon paired with pumpkin puree—absolutely delicious! We also tried the takoyaki, which disappeared so quickly I didn't even have a chance to snap a photo! Even my picky eater polished off three of them. Additionally, we ordered lamb chops, which were cooked to perfection (medium rare). The restaurant's interior was clean and modern. I definitely plan to return!

This is undoubtedly one of the best omakase experiences outside of Japan. Every piece of nigiri was fresh and beautifully presented. The Kobe beef and Hokkaido Uni were particularly outstanding, but the highlight was the Otoro and Uni combination, which practically melted in my mouth. The service was excellent as well; the owner, Jay, was incredibly friendly, and the chefs at the counter, Eddie and Mike, were very attentive, ensuring we had a memorable experience. I can't wait to return to Makizushico during our visit to Denver this winter!
