Actively listening is difficult and for some seem an unnecessary skill to developed but then again I was foolish enough to think people do their jobs and didn’t check my order. I asked for a menu toplace a togo order and the hostess asked me what I would like. A menu for starters. I wasn’t sure if she heard me or not so nobig deal. The other hostess took my order. I placed my Caesar Salad entree, fish and chips, chicken fried chicken. I then askedif I could also have a side of Brussels sprouts with my meal. She said sure. I saw on the screen that it said side of BrusselsSprouts for $1. I questioned if this was correct because I wanted an additional side and she said yes. Guess what I didn’tget. They’re lucky it was for me that I didn’t get what I paid for and not my wife who is in the hospital next doorrecovering and being with our daughter in the NICU. I appreciate the inconvenience. I wonder who gets my tip I left for myorder. Hoping it’s not the hostesses working on 8/10 at 7pm. Food was decent nothing spectacular but it’s a brewery andbetter than hospital food.
We ate here twice (with large groups) during our recent visit to Denver. Great service, and very good food. Place can get a little loud, but it is a bit of a sports bar. The second night I came in, the waitress immediately brought me my Arnold Palmer,so nice, and then she didn't miss a beat with the split checks for our huge group. The Pretzel sticks are amazing, tomatobisque was wonderful, flatbread pizza is delicious, even the Cobb salad ???? was absolutely wonderful... Not sure what the greendressing was, but it was tasty. Will repeat often when I am in town.
I had a lovely dinner here, sitting on the patio and enjoying the nice shade. We started with the beet appetizer accompanied by a sour beer queso fresco (as seen in the picture). For my main course, I opted for the Sonoma Flatbread, and I must say, it was extraordinary! I've never tasted a flavor combination quite like it. The Sonoma was topped with shaved green apples, blue cheese, truffle cream, shallots, kale, and honey. It was truly amazing! For dessert, I had a salted caramel whiskey shake with graham cracker crumble at the bottom, which was delightful. The service was attentive and everything we had was delicious. Thank you, everyone!
On April 28th, I visited this restaurant again, and the staff continues to impress! I ordered the Cilantro Ranch Chop Salad and the Santa Fe Grilled Chicken Salad, along with a Grapefruit Sol IPA. The food was absolutely delicious and left me reminiscing about how great it was for at least half an hour after we left. The salads were generous in size and quite healthy, requiring a real effort to finish while still allowing me to leave comfortably. Although the service had a few minor hiccups, it was very prompt and friendly. This was my first visit to this location, as I've only dined at their downtown restaurant before. The place was definitely clean and featured some cool brewery decor, although the dining area felt a bit basic. Overall, it’s still a solid choice for a good meal.
If you look at the accompanying photo, you'll see not only the alarming pool of grease on the plate but also the excessively soaked, glistening bun. One bite in, and it felt like I was served a tablespoon of canola oil—revolting. Our server took an unusually long time to return after dropping off our food, which meant my sandwich cooled down and congealed while I munched on the surprisingly tasty and crispy waffle fries and sampled my partner's nachos. When she finally came back, she quickly agreed to my request for a new bun on a fresh plate—I've learned not to send food back at that hour. Unfortunately, by the time the magical second bun that wasn't drenched in an artery-clogging amount of oil arrived, my appetite was gone, and my spouse had finished eating. Not once did a manager come to check on us or show any concern, although there was a gentleman who seemed more interested in flirting with the staff. I don’t leave reviews lightly, but what we experienced tonight was beyond disappointing. Despite not wanting to be those customers, we still tipped $10 on our $56 bill and didn’t ask for a refund for my sandwich. That’s on us, as well as the management for their lack of attention. Overall, I would advise avoiding this location unless you're keen on overpaying for mediocre food and subpar service in an atmosphere that lacks personality.
