The Rusty Tapp Colorado Bbq Catering

Rusty Tapp gave us a baby Q shower. The food was amazing and everyone on how good and tasteful it was all. The ordering process was smooth and professional and we could not be happier with how it turned out. We definitely recommend them and will use them again!!

Words cannot describe how I felt after eating these things. I almost cried... I had a baked potato, smoked turkeys and burned ends.. pretty sure, the burned ends were just a lining roast that was diceed and then placed on the smoker. Rookie is moving. Flavorful, but dry and a little burnt... the turkey was fine, but my wife thinks it was just a deli meat. It was cut and then embellished?? Why? After all, my wife had to cook the potato I bought in your store today. $35 spent and would have gone better to the waffle house in the same parking lot. At least I know what I get. I've seen a Texas flag in your restaurant today, and I swear to the good Lord himself, that if you're from Texas, that knocks for those nice people here in Colorado... What's going on? The end

This is easily the best barbecue in south Denver, and definitely rivals anywhere in the state. The burnt ends are tender and terrific every time. The sausage links are better than anywhere else. Service is always great and friendly. Love this place.

Food smelled great, but we went late and food tasted a little old and dry. I?ll probably go back at an earlier hour and I?m sure it?ll be an easy 4 stars, at least. Very similar to Rolling Smoke. Update on 7.26.21 I went back around 4:30 in the afternoon to give it another shake, which is what the picture is from, and I'd give it 3.5/5 stars if I could. It was a little better than last time, but still just not great. Flavors didn't pop, and it just doesn't taste that fresh to me. The hot link, home made sauces, texas toast, and mac n cheese were all very tasty- but you've got to bring home the big meats at a BBQ joint. I'll rate each individual item: Pulled Pork: 3/5 Burnt Ends: 2/5 Hot Link: 4/5 Mac N Cheese: 4/5 Texas Toast: 4/5 Sauces (Spicy and Colorado Gold): 5/5 Iced Tea: 2/5 6/7/22: second picture is same meal ordered a year later. Burnt ends were definitely burnt, in a bad way. Hot link was 2.5/5 and pork was 3.5/5. I?m just going to stick with GQue BBQ if I?m in South Denver.

I ordered DoorDash from here. The coleslaw I ordered was good but the quantity over the price was ridiculous. Door dash labeled coleslaw as a side for roughly $4. I was expecting a decent side but I got a finger food coleslaw. Aside from that food was great, so go in person vs DoorDash.
