Cross Keys - Liverpool

Excellent service, good pub lunch, very good pint of Speckled Hen. The service was outstanding despite the place being very busy one multitasking barman looking after everyone, and despite the warning food would take 25 minutes it took less than 15 minutes which was perfectly acceptable. Scampi and chips were good too.

We called in here last Monday night and had a lovely welcome......if your looking for a friendly pub full of history and a landlord who doesn't mind spending time showing you around this is the place to be.

The restaurant offers a great selection of drinks including a delicious Pale Ale on tap. They also have a good variety of other drinks available on tap and in bottles. The prices are reasonable and the service was friendly and attentive.

The Cross Keys Pub is one of Liverpool's best hidden gem pubs, featuring a charming atmosphere with a solid wood serving bar, classic pub decor and furnishings, TVs and big screens for sports fans, a back room, beer garden, and an upstairs outside terrace. Despite not being able to visit for a while due to lockdowns, our recent experience on a Thursday afternoon was fantastic. We were warmly greeted by a friendly staff member, did the necessary track and trace, sanitized our hands, and were shown to our table where we ordered refreshing pale ales. The ales were served in excellent condition and we enjoyed the crisp, well-balanced flavors with hints of toffee and a delicious aroma. The pub is a great place to relax and enjoy a drink. The Cross Keys Pub is located on Earle Street and is open from Midday till 11pm Monday to Saturday, and Midday till 7pm on Sundays. I highly recommend checking out this great pub if you're in the area around Old Hall Street.

During my stay at the Radisson hotel in Liverpool, I visited The Cross Keys located just around the corner. The staff was exceptional and went above and beyond to accommodate us, especially Neil who helped arrange a table for us. My only drawback is that The Cross Keys is not local to our home in Somerset. If you find yourself in the area, I highly recommend stopping by to experience the unique atmosphere of this pub, which stands out amongst the modern buildings.
