We visited the restaurant on Easter Sunday and the food and service were excellent. However, the evening was somewhat spoilt by a man who was sitting by the window having a drink and watching football on his laptop which was quite loud. A couple who were sitting nearby and having a meal politely asked him to turn the volume down at which point, he became very aggressive and an argument ensued for about 30 minutes. Shortly afterwards, they finished their meal and left. His raised voice and continued persistent arguing made everyone in the restaurant feel uncomfortable and the staff did absolutely nothing to intervene. We have encountered this type of behaviour in this restaurant before with groups of men sat by the window using foul language and drunken behaviour which is unacceptable. This experience has left us reluctant to return and the management need to address this issue.

I went to Ying Wah for the first time in about 20 years, and the place has been renovated nicely. As we entered, we were greeted by a friendly big man, but unfortunately, the skinny Chinese man who served us didn't seem to be in a good mood. His attitude came across as unfriendly and almost arrogant, giving short, unhelpful responses. Despite this, the food was excellent and faultless. I would have given a 5-star rating if the service had matched the quality of the food.

The experience at this restaurant was terrible. We were in a group and ordered food, but did not receive all the dishes we ordered and still had to pay the full bill.
