Thai Spoon 2 - Loma Linda

This restaurant serves truly authentic Thai food, which is quite impressive. However, your experience can vary significantly depending on the waiter you encounter. I chose to visit based on the numerous positive reviews and recommendations from locals, but unfortunately, we were assigned a waiter who was quite rude and sarcastic while taking our order. Due to this experience, my family and I won’t be coming back.

Okay. Listen to this. We experienced the worst service in our lives. We waited over 50 minutes and guess what. GUESS WHAT! Our food didn't come out. The family right beside us came after us and got their food first. I warn you. If you want to go to a thai place where it has good service, I highly recommend not to come here.

One dish I really miss is the "All Wrapped Up" appetizer, which I loved! It was shrimp wrapped in crispy noodles with a creamy filling, and it was my all-time favorite. I understand that menus change, but I wish I could have it just one more time—I loved it that much! As for vegetarian options, they offer tofu, which is great. Both locations are kid-friendly and the staff is incredibly kind and welcoming. It's definitely worth visiting. I'm a regular at the Highland location since I live very close by—so close that I can see it from my home! I’m lucky enough to be able to walk there if I wanted to.

It's okay. The food is good. Service is a little slow because it's busy, but it's good. It's clean. Fresh. The only complaint (and it's more observation than complaint) is that the seating is tight, and it feels like you're dining with the people next to you. People stand right inside the door with no barrier between those waiting and diners. It's a bit cringe.

I had a disappointing experience at this restaurant. The waiting staff had explained that our food would be served as a shared meal, which took some time to detail. However, when the owner arrived, she asked us the same question about whether we wanted our meal served individually or as a shared dish. We informed her that we had already discussed it with the staff and opted for a shared meal. Despite this, she decided to serve us individually without any explanation. To make matters worse, the portion sizes were smaller, and one of the curries was served in a noticeably smaller bowl than the others. It seemed like they no longer care about their customers. I won’t be returning due to the poor customer service.
