Buenos Aires Cafe - Greenwich - London

Located in the De Vere Hotel/Conference Centre, this restaurant offers meals for conference participants. We went for lunch and there was a 3 course self service buffet at £14.95 per head. It wasn't what we expected from the details on the toptable link. The advantage for us was that it was a quiet place.

We ate here at the other weekend (7 people) and eating was excellent. the service was also fast and attentive. the only problem was that, although it was a Saturday night, the restaurant was completely empty. it was a bit eery, because they had no music either. his more from a hotel restaurant art by vibe but very nice yet

We had a very nice meal at what the Greenwich Galley was renamed. They are only open from 7 p.m. All employees were very friendly, but seemed somewhat unprofessional as if they were just learning the job. Our red wine was delivered tepid and, while apologetic, their only proposal was either they run it under a cold tap or leave it next to our cold water jug. That the food was very good, especially because we used her (unchanged) special food offer. All in all very nice evening, but could all be a little sharpened.

We went to dinner on Sunday night and hoped for a romantic meal. not exactly what we have. Sunday evening is buffet and it really felt like a hotel restaurant. all in all were eating and ambiente was not bad, but that wasn't what I wanted for the night.

We came to Buenos Aires Cafe on a whim a few weeks ago after exploring Greenwich and finding ourselves in Blackheath.
