Daphne's - London

We came here as a summer evening out as well as celebrating some birthdays.

You're getting what you pay for - and probably a bit more. Our party of 5 shared various apps - scallops, burrata and tuna - and they were all excellent.

First visit to this restaurant, for a lunch time celebration . Warm welcome and good all round ambience, nice decor, etc. Service throughout was excellent. Had the tagliatelle with wild boar Raghu, which was delicious, aswell as the pork/veal meatballs with roast potatoes which were very tasty. Enjoyed the chessboard all famous Italian cheeses, served with honey which was a first for us but no fruit or celery, which was a little disappointing. Overall, very enjoyable and almost full, which added to the atmosphere of a happy occasion.

We had a lovely anniversary dinner at Daphnes. The service was very good. We had more than one person serving us who were all very attentive. Dinner was delicious. We asked the waiter to take our picture and I mentioned it was our anniversary. When our dessert arrived, it had a special message.
