Írjon visszajelzéstI have been to this restaurants couple of times for dim sum and I think they are pretty alright for Chinese standards. It’s good when you have bigger group of people to dine in together. Had some meals in the past during Chinese new year and it is pretty decent food too. Would recommend this if you are running out of places to go to fit in larger group of people.
Regular customer here. Wife is from HK. It’s our favourite dim sum place in London… and the quality is comparable to HK. Her family all agree! It’s a real HK dim sum experience. The service style isn’t what us Westeners are used to but it’s authentic and nothing bad. If you like dim sum then this place is 4.5+. For me, it’s 5. I recommend: Prawn dumplings (har gau), prawn and chive dumplings (gau choi gau), bbq pork in puff pastry (char siu so) (get chilli oil on the side), beef balls (au yok kau) and ‘cheung fun’.
A hidden game, barely any line compare to other restaurants. We go there quite often on Sundays for their dim sum. Good variety, chewy thin skins and nice in-house chilli sauce. The service is pretty good too (not rude like most other places).
We’ve been coming here for 20 years. Still the best
The restaurant has an attractive entrance, with stone elephants and bridge before coming to the actual interior. But deco becomes quite bland once inside. We had mostly dim sums which I would say was average in London. Dumpling skins were a bit on the thick side. Cheung funs (rice pancakes), on the other hand, were good. The only main dish we had was mixed vegetable fried noodle. This was only average. Service was very good though. One of the better ones in Chinatown.
