Írjon visszajelzéstThe food was absolutely delicious at Yuu Kitchen, which now has a residency in the basement restaurant. The service was exceptional, with friendly staff who went above and beyond for us. The Icebar was a lot of fun and an amazing experience, especially if you’ve never tried it before. Just a heads up: when you make a reservation on Opentable, it’s only for Yuu Kitchen, not the Icebar. If you want to experience the Icebar, be sure to call them or talk to a team member, and they will help you arrange it. Overall, my friends and I had a fantastic time, and we’re definitely looking forward to returning soon to enjoy the restaurant and Fire Bar. Thank you, Icebar!
Here’s a summary of our experience: There was no children’s menu, and the adult menu had limited options. I would not recommend this restaurant for families with young children. The service was incredibly slow. Despite it being a Saturday afternoon, the restaurant wasn’t particularly busy, yet everything from ordering food and drinks to getting the bill—which we had to ask for three times—felt like a chore. As for the food, it was mediocre at best. The bao buns tasted stale and heavy, while the rice was very dry. Generally, plain rice is a hit with kids, but none of us could finish the small bowl we were served. To top it all off, the restaurant was listed on TasteCard with a "50% off" promotion, but they claimed it was a mistake and offered us a 25% discount instead. Five days later, the 50% offer is still listed on TasteCard. In summary, while the concept and location have great potential, the restaurant falls short in both service and food quality. It meets only the bare minimum expectations for a mid-range restaurant in central London.
The food was served quickly and there was a good variety to choose from. I highly recommend trying the pig ears; they were surprisingly delicious and crispy. However, I think there could have been a few more salad options.
To summarize: there is no kids' menu, and the adult menu offers limited options. I wouldn't recommend this place for families with small children. The service was incredibly slow. Despite it being a Saturday afternoon, the restaurant wasn't particularly busy, yet we had to ask three times for our food, drinks, and even the bill. The food itself was mediocre. The Bao buns were tough and dry, and the rice was extremely bland. Plain rice usually appeals to children, but even we struggled to finish the small bowl that was served to us. To top it off, despite being listed on Tastecard with a "50% off" offer, the restaurant claimed it was a mistake but agreed to give us a 25% discount as a goodwill gesture. The food was served very quickly, and there was a lovely variety to choose from. I highly recommend trying the pork ears—they were surprisingly delicious and perfectly crispy. However, I felt there could have been more salad options.
