Mingo Argentine Steakhouse City Of London

First off, the guys I was with really know their steaks. One is a bodybuilder turned banker, another is a Texan, and the last is a 6'5" Polish Australian. The anticipation for the steaks was high, and unsurprisingly, BAR did not disappoint. My sirloin was a generous portion and tasted incredible, just like the glass of red wine I had. I don’t have much else to say, as I tend to keep things simple for these steak nights. But I will say this: the steak was fantastic! I will definitely be coming back here soon!

The steak was delicious, but the peppercorn sauce was a bit odd. The mushrooms were incredibly juicy, but the fries, lamb, and mashed potatoes were average. Overall, it was a decent meal for a late-night outing in the city. The waitress suggested we order mashed potatoes after we had already chosen fries and mushrooms, claiming the portions were quite small. Unfortunately, we ended up wasting some of the sides because we couldn't finish everything.

I had an impromptu dinner here one Wednesday night with some colleagues from work. To be honest, we didn't expect much, but we were pleasantly surprised. We enjoyed a nice bottle of Malbec and decided to ignore the waitress's recommendation, which was about £10 more expensive, and we weren't disappointed. We all ordered the rib eye, which was quite flavorful. While it may not have been as good as Hawksmoor or Goodmans, it was still enjoyable. The service was decent, and the prices were fairly reasonable.
