Chester's Chicken & Fish - London

We ordered the eight piece chicken and fries with gravy for takeout The staff was friendly enough and the chicken seemed done fast. What we didn't realize till we got home with our food was how overdone and cold the chicken we ordered was. Seriously bad chicken, the skin was a very dark chestnut brown(overdone) and all the pieces were dark meat, not quite what we expected. This was obviously chicken that been sitting around for a while and had been reheated by a quick dunk in a deep fryer or something. The fries though they were a generous serving were quite underdone and we actually put them in our deep fryer to finish cooking them. Maybe an off evening for this restaurant and perhaps we will give them a second chance because they are so conveniently close for us.

Every time were come here were treated like family. My son especially enjoys the poutine. It is amazing! The owner is great he remembers each customer and always has a kind word or joke to share. The food is always fresh and you won't be disappointed

In town visiting my sister and close to her house is a Chesters, lucky me. We both had 2piece chicken and taters, hot and fresh and delicious. Sorry, Colonel Sanders, Chester's #1.

The staff here are very friendly and helpful. They are all about customer service. Oh and the chicken is the best ever. ☺️☺️

This Place is awesome! Best Chicken Sandwich & Potato wedges in town!!! The guys working there are super friendly! I'll be back for sure!
