Írjon visszajelzéstWe tried this place last month and got the soup and lobster special. The soup was very salty and I would never order it again. However, the lobster was excellent as was the service.
We had a multi generational family meal here today and enjoyed ourselves. Ideally it is best when you order several different items and share. We has mussels, shrimp, crawfish and snowcrab with sides of okra, corn, and cajun shrimp rice We did not look too much at pricing as it was a birthday celebration.Service was excellent, showing us how to get to the meat of the shrimp and crawfish.Even helping us put on our bibs.We were given forks for the rice with a styrofoam bowl, the bibs and plastic glives were on the tables and our water came in a plastic cup. This was my one concern, how much garbage was being created?Taste was great especially the cajun rice, and we left with a bill of 100 dollars for 4. To me this was quite an excellent price! Every generation at the table enjoyed the experience and we will be back.
You might love this; you might hate it. Depends on what you're into. Personally, I'm not a seafood lover. The messy eating style was interesting, though. I was served a pound of clams in a plastic bag and given plastic gloves and a bib. Then I picked through the shells to find all of the clams, which is a little cumbersome for my liking... also why I'm not a major fan of shellfish. One of my friends had a plate of lobster, which he enjoyed. We all shared sweet potato fries, cajun fries, and cajun rice, and I think those were the best parts of the meal. I should also note that I barely feel sick today (more to do with my weak digestive system than anything). There are simpler options available on the menu, like fish & chips and even chicken tenders. If I do go back, I'll probably end up trying these out.Service was good. The waiter saw us waiting on the sidewalk outside for everyone to show up and he had the table prepped for us as soon as we walked in. Prices aren't as unreasonable as some reviews make them out to be. My pound of clams was around $12. The sweet potato fries were around $7. Both were huge servings. I don't think the price would be drastically different in another restaurant for the same volume of food.
It was my first and my last time going here. I had a lobster roll that looked nothing like the advertised picture. There very very little crab meat, tons of sauce on a bun. I have had tons and tons of lobster rolls on the east coast, this one was at the bottom of the list of best to worst.
Wife and I plus our 2 grown boys went for my wife's birthday and all I can say is we'll never go back. We all have spent the last couple days in the washroom. They need to make sure quality as far as fresh and doneness is assurred. Still recovering as of the 3rd day after.
