Drift Beach Bar Restaurant - Long Beach

Great place for a casual dinner after a day on the bay! Our group of 10 enjoyed the food and drinks and the beach-y casual atmosphere. We look forward to returning again.

Outside bar area was great! Open, inviting and good service. Our meal experience, however, was not good. Firstly, our food was delivered but we had no utensils nor napkins to eat it with... took a few minutes to get that. Secondly, the 2 entrees we had (both fish) were terrible. The fish was overcooked as were the veggies. We were also informed after ordering our drinks, that you were out of the wine which is a regular printed on your menu (pinot noir). The service was good but I will not be coming back here to eat...

The atmosphere decor at this place, after the revamp, is really, really nice. Updated, modern, trendy, but sophisticated. The whole redo, but especially the patio in the back. The dunes of course are there so you can't see the beach or ocean, but you still get the vibe it is fantastic. I think there are only a couple other restos on LBI that have this type of set up oceanfront dining.
