Harbour Rackhouse - Long Beach

This bar is a lot of fun, especially if you enjoy playing pool. They have great drinks and the food is a step above your usual bar fare. Happy Hour drink prices are reasonable, but the Happy Hour menu mostly consists of fried foods.

This is our favorite spot for happy hour. We usually share a salad because they are generous portions. The appetizers are excellent and the service is friendly. You can choose your own table and enjoy good music. Even though I don't drink alcohol, I still appreciate their happy hour food offerings. The restaurant is located in a pleasant neighborhood and has a spacious layout with pool tables. We highly recommend it.

I have to tell you this is going to be one of the most amazing places I've ever seen there's a big open dining room. It has at least six pool tables that I can see you on several different types of seating to accommodate all different types of moods in a wonderful atmosphere, but I had to have the stroganoff and I'll tell you whatever delicious kind of meat they use literally melted in my mouth each bite welcomes the next!!

Horribly unprofessional. I wish I could give this place 0 stars. My partner I came here for a drink. I had been wanting to stop in for awhile, because it looked fun. When we got there, the bouncer asked us you guys have ID 's that say you 're 21 or older right? We replied, yes, but he didn 't bother to check. We ordered a couple of drinks and went to play pool, the bartender exchanged us with enough quarters to play for 3 rounds. We don 't care much about pool, and thought 3 rounds was probably a lot, but who knows, maybe we would start having fun and would play a bunch. As soon as we put our quarters into the table, the bartender yelled last call. We were surprised because we had looked at their hours on google, and it said they were open until 2am everyday. And it was around approx. 11:30 at this time. The bar was busy, so we aren 't sure why they were closing early. We thought, oh, well i guess we will at least have time for one round. My partner went to grab us one last drink, and when he got to the counter the bouncer started yelling over top of the noise for everyone to get out of the bar. It was maybe around 5 minutes later, definitely not in time for people to not only grab their last drink, but also not to have even finished them. The bartender had told my partner that it was okay for us to finish our game of pool. A few times, the bouncer made comments about us taking too long and that we sucked at pool (which I already know, so I didn 't really care about this comment). We were down to last ball. The bouncer came over to our pool table and my partner asked him for pool advise to try to win the game. The bouncer slammed all of our balls apart with his arm, and started yelling at us to leave the bar or that he would start to get violent. He was very much trying to act as a threat, puffing up his chest and trying to get as close to us as possible without touching us. He kept stating that he can close the bar at any time he feels like it. And other things. I told him we don 't care about pool and all he had to do was ask us nicely to leave, but we were previously told we were allowed to stay. He didn 't seem to hear me or even be listening over top of all of his yelling. A bartender came over and was ushering us out in a way but also attempting to apologize. I looked at him and said wow, the bouncer wants to go home more than the bartender does. he cracked up laughing (because it was true). There was no reason for him to act threatening towards us at all, we are reasonable people and if they had asked us to leave we would have. In a professional environment, this is never okay. This bouncer needs a new career.

This is a great local hangout for drinks and watching sports games. The food is a cut above typical bar food, and it's a nice spot to relax and enjoy a game with a big group. We had a table for 7 and the service was excellent. The atmosphere is perfect for having a blast with friends. The other customers were friendly and the staff added to the fun atmosphere. I ordered some fries and red wine, and the portions were very generous. There is plenty of parking available, but we walked from our friend's house to be safe. Remember, never drink and drive.
