Írjon visszajelzéstSecond time at Heritage and first time since they received their star, and the evening proved there it was well earned. This is a wonderful restaurant. Casually elegant with dishes that highlighted high quality garden to table ingredients. Great service wait staff overheard we were celebrating our anniversary and brought us a champagne toast. Restaurant also accommodated (with notice) my shell fish allergy. Also noteworthy that the entire dining room were enjoying themselves. Can't wait to return!
When dining at a Michelin rated establishment, the expectations are typically high. The cost usually is justified by the food, ambiance and overall experience. The staff was incredibly polite and professional, and the food was enjoyable. The experience did leave much to be desired however. When spending $450+ for a meal for two, the assumption is you will be blown away. The tasting room was crowded and loud, and having to almost yell at my dinner guest to carry a conversation was not the evening I had in mind when booking this dinner. All of the dishes were good, but I do feel that the chef took the easy route as nothing felt experimental. Scallops, chicken, a sweet dessert, all crafted with professional expertise but the atmosphere did not set this apart from any other diner in long beach. Additionally the wine pairing did not enhance the meal. While pleasant bottles, none of the pairings amplified the course. A fun experience if you haven't done a pairing menu before, but would recommend finding a more affordable establishment as this did not justify the cost.
Food was amazing. Wine pairing was perfect. The hostess, servers, and valet were all great (definitely recommend valet as street parking is crowded . The staff even brought out a candle with dessert for a birthday wish : Thank you Heritage!

Cute little former home transformed into a restaurant. Drive slowly or you might miss it. They provide valet right in front which I highly recommend as Long Beach is know for being scarce on parking. Everything was perfect from the moment we were greeted by the host to the time we ate out last spoonful of dessert. They offer a preset 6 course tasting menu with optional wine pairing. The plates are meant to be tastings but I promise you won't leave hungry. Everything tasted amazing and the most unexpected flavors paired together so well. The menu changes often based on what's in season and I have every intention of going back. Thank you for a wonderful experience.
