Írjon visszajelzéstAfter eating here almost once a month for the past year, the quality has decreased significantly. Quality, order accuracy and service. I type well, at least 20% for done and take orders. Most of my orders are $40-130. But my orders contain less taste, false spiciness applied to the wrong dishes (very hot 10 on a mild 3 vice versa). Biryni used to contain good meat movements, but I now find 3-5 chicken nugget size pieces (literal McDonald size nuggets). Flavor is no longer as deep as before. Staff who used to act as friendly as if they are now personal or on the phone uncomfortable. I hope it would happen, but it has gone down steadily. For cost per dish, there are incredible restaurants still a few minutes on the street in Artesia with dozens to choose. Too bad this place was good.
These are the hands of the best Indian restaurant? was in the area. We ordered more food to go home because we wanted more than just our left overs? many vegetarian options and many non-veggie options also, overall just amazing? The price was right as the food was fantastic. Overheard this place was also family owned and we love close knit restaurants. ?
I experience a good customer service from hallo at the front door all night. I order the vegetable malai. The coconut cream tastes so good by itself, mixed with vegetables and rice, even better overall. I demand the most juicy sauce on the side and have the meal at an average spice level. I find a drop or so the sizist sauce in the meal for a few bites makes the meal much tastier, more tasteful than just hot. I eat about half of my meal before I have to go boxes, a very full meal worth the price for me when it comes to food. If you are looking for vegan options, let who helps you know, because there are about seven ways the restaurant can veganize when you become. Kamal Palace is a rustic restaurant on the water.
Location is a little wierd to find (downstairs in the back) but worth the walk. The patio is of course a great outdoor setting but the dining room has its own attraction. The food was a mix for me. I usually start at the lowest level of heat at any new Indian restaurant, but this one was a little low even so. Still with maybe a medium heat this meal would have be great. I always suggest trying 2 of your staples and then something unique from the menu. I am normally pleasantly surprised. Really looking forward to the brunch reopening but until then I have a few dishes I would like to try. Cost is a little high for the amount so sampling is costly. Still we were not able to finish everything and enjoyed what we had. One other thing, the naan was not what I am used to. Not bad , just not the same as other versions I've had. Now to head there for dinner and see how that changes the experience.
Canal dining complemented with excellent spices, fresh mint, perfect heat and generous portions. The service lacks, so be patient and enjoy the food!
