Skinny's Cantina LIC - Long Island City

The server was very friendly. Food came quickly. Love the coconut pancakes!

It took 45 minutes for our food to come, and while dining with 3 children, their meals came out last. From the time the first dishes were delivered, to the final dish was 10 minutes (not exaggerating). Additionally, one of the children complained that the chicken didnt taste good upon further inspection, his was not cooked (pink/raw in the middle) and the meat smelled rancid. We always knew the service was slow and moderate at best, but never had such issues with the actual food. Will not be going back.

Good food, the coconut pancakes were fantastic! My margarita on the rocks was awful very sweet but tasted like fake sugar. I didn’t drink it but ordered a frozen margarita (much better). The server didn’t even ask if something was wrong with my drink. We also asked for our check and had to wait about 20 minutes and ask again. Overall the food was good, some drinks good, service just ok.

Fabulous evening during the latest NYC heatwave. They were so accommodating and attentive. Food and service were top notch. Drinks were excellent and setting is lovely. FISH TACOS were superb!

Great music, good food, nice ambiance and location.
