Beau Jo's Longmont

Ordered a calzone and small pizza to go. Was just warm when I picked it up and I have never had a pizza so dry. It’s like they forgot the sauce. Appeared to be over cooked bread and toppings/cheese. Even the calzone was dry. I’ll continue using my small local pizza joint and won’t be returning to beau Jo’s. Follow up: Stated it was over cooked and dry, that has nothing to do with quality ingredients. That has to do with a lack of ingredients and being overcooked by your chef. I will not waste another $50+ to maybe get better pizza. I 'll go where its always the same quality and half the price.

Very good pizza. Everything we had was way tasty! Staff was super helpful and they have a such a great beer selection. But oh man can we make this simpler. I felt like I needed a spreadsheet just to understand the menu! Was there with my grandma and we could barely figure it all out. Took a couple explanations from the (very kind) waitress to get it figured.

Been to different locations before and never been to this one. I was not disappointed! The food was amazing! It was hot, fresh and tasted great, the service was fast and friendly. Will definitely recommend if you are in the area. We will definitely visit again. My wife and I ordered the Dude Ranch mountain pie, and needless to say, is now our favorite pizza in town.

I’m not really sure why anyone is commenting on quality of food here, because that really is not the issue. Pizza around here is pretty abysmal.. with Beau Jo’s actually being an exception. Our pizza was hot, fresh, and tasted great. The service, on the other hand, made the experience so unenjoyable. We had to wait (probably 15+ minutes) for a table despite the restaurant not being busy. They said they were understaffed, which they definitely were not judging on the amount of filled tables. It seemed that there are too many front of house people doing virtually nothing, with a select few carrying the weight of the restaurant on their shoulders. Our waitress, though, seemed to be in between. She was far from attentive, yet did do the bare minimum. She had one table besides us, though, and we got to witness her treat them far more respectfully. We probably saw her three times. Once for drinks. Once to drop off food. Once for the check. Each time she was already walking away before we could even think about whether or not we needed anything else. Her demeanor towards us was cold, and bothered. The only thing that makes sense to me is that she knew she had messed up from the beginning, and decided she might as well not try anymore. By the end, we couldn’t even get her to come back to pick up the check. We had to ask another random employee to process it, and after she had heard us ask him… we could see her protesting in the back as if we did something wrong. I didn’t want to post this, but seeing how many reviews shared similar sentiments… I feel like I should also warn potential customers.

Tried their pizza tonight for the first time. I spent 42 dollars, assuming that would feed three people... instead I received a sparsely topped, very small pizza that was mostly cold and had an almost raw crust. I was extremely disappointed, as was my husband who had very fond memories of this place when he was younger. Overall an extremely unpleasant experience.
