The Maker's Son - Los Alamos

Excellent food and wine. Sorry they no longer have their Brunch menu, and that they have limited choices for vegetarians the four instead of 5 stars. But overall a great dining experience and can't wait to go back!

Worth the drive! Food was fantastic. We had the Mac cheese and ahi appetizers. Both were delicious. The ahi entree was great, as was the chicken entree. Service was friendly and attentive. The owner came to our table to say hi, and he spent time describing the restaurant and their vision.

Had dinner with friends in a Friday night. The service was great. The owner also spent time at the table talking about the food and the inspiration for the name. The food was amazing. Split a burger with a friend-it was huge and delicious. The waffle fries were very tasty. I would highly recommend this place.

We brought a party of 12 to Maker's Son for my moms 60th. Plenty of room in this huge restaurant, we sat on the beautiful side patio for our reservation. Excellent customer service, food and drinks. We even brought a cake from a Santa Barbara bakery which the owner held for us in a cooler until after dinner then provided everything to serve it. Highly recommend.

Stumbled upon this place on a road trip and found them on Yelp. The place is so CUTE! Bistro lights and rustic outdoor setting with a homey yet elegant vibe. The food and the presentation was FANTASTIC. Our waiter was so nice and accommodating to the table. The weather was 110 and the waiter made sure we all had our waters full. This historic town with this little gem restaurant was a great experience and I would 10/10 recommend to friends traveling up north.
