Foothill Pacific Dining At Hilltop Grill

Not sure why the food here is over charged, but I got a quesadilla and the cheese wasn't melted. The tortilla was already burnt and can't melt the cheese anymore. Plus, for breakfast they didn't cook the Dutch pancake they have it already made and warm it up and on top of that they didn't have any. I'm confused about there breakfast menu and if they even cook. Foothill and de anza need to drop the price of the food because this isn't a rich school or anything. This will be the last time I order anything from here.

It's too expensive. The taste is mediocre at best. And the cashier, flat out rude. First off. I can't believe this place charges college students nearly $8-10 for such a small meal. It's literally theft. It would be much cheaper just to go to Chipotle or McD's for the same amount of money for more food, including gas. Not to mention, I would hands down take the McD's salad over theirs. Why? McD's salad is MUCH fresher than Foothill's cafeteria and for a similar portion, McD's is MUCH cheaper. Now the cashier. Okay, I get that I don't have a student ID or that my cup of noodles wasn't at/above the $3.50 credit card minimum, but don't get pissed off at me and give me a dirty look when I hand you a $20, and breathe like your annoyed. Really dude? Go find another job if you're going to act like this.

I WILL NOT BE RETURNING to campus dining facility, which is bit troubling seeing as I am a paying student here. BUT STAFF ARE RUDE. Not only are staff at a low english profiency, but they are also VERY RUDE. I waited 10 minutes while an employee was preparing food for what I assumed was catering, and she did not even acknowledge me waiting. I asked what kind of sandwiches she was making, to which she replied Veggie . When she finished and asked me what I wanted, I told her I 'd like a veggie sandwich with the ingredients she just used, only requesting to add chicken, which I would pay for. She told me that 's only for the catering, you can 't have that . Shocked, I asked if she could make something similar and I would pay. She told me to look at the menu. Who do I speak to about this? Meh. School food not bad not good. Got spicy chicken chipotle was pretty meh and garlic fries were meh more like curly fries. Meh

I can't believe i haven't written a review for foothill's cafeteria even though i spent 5 quarters as a part-time student here! whether it's early in the morning or in the middle of the day, the cafe always seems to be open, and stocked with all of the usual college student favourites to get a body through the school day! there are cookies (extra large, and extra sugary), pretzels and hummus, fresh fruit, chips, and sodas. for breakfast, they have breakfast burritos, eggs, waffles, pancakes, bacon, sausage, bagels, and muffins. during lunchtime, they have a full salad bar, hot soup, as well as hot entrees such as pasta, chicken, and beef. i'd say the selection is pretty good here, and if you present your owl card (i.e. your foothill student id card), the cashier will take 10% off your bill. note: even if you choose not to purchase anything here, you can still heat up your brown bag lunch from home with their microwaves.
