El Gallo Bakery - Los Angeles

Update: They have great chorizo, and as always, the breads and pastries are perfect. However, I have one complaint. I was there yesterday, and there was a line out the door. I had to wait about 25 to 30 minutes because there was only one girl at the counter and one at the register. This was the first time I've experienced this.

Hands down the best pan dulce in the city! I would give them 5 stars if they would allow pre-orders of their wonderful pan de agua rolls during the holidays. I do not want to wait in line at 5 a.m. in the dark and cold. Not the safest and best way to do business anymore.

Love it the best East Los Angeles. Everything's fresh the same date you're the best.

I love this bakery! I probably go 2x a week to stock up on pan Dulce lol … Parking is a little crazy sometimes. People from other businesses will park where the bakery’s customer parking is so sometimes you have to search for street parking.

Unexpected and excessive price increases over the past few months prompted me to look for another bakery. East Los Angeles is a working-class community...
