5 stars for the hostess and waitress! The food however is very average, you don’t hide an expensive steak inside a bunch of sauce. I could tell it was dry and also took a long time to come out. This place is atmosphere first and food second.

I paid $30 for a tasty burger and coke (Tip not included). I placed my order at the bar and, even though I wanted to pay in advance, the server asked for my credit card to be kept behind the bar. When it came time to settle the bill, the server presented me with a digital receipt on a tablet and subtly hinted at leaving a tip. It felt like there was pressure to tip.

If you are looking for a great vibe, delicious food and impeccable service Joeys DTLA is the place to be! All staff are kind and customer service is top notch Jalen was the best!!! Every dish we ordered was delicious you truly cannot go wrong. If you have not been here you are missing out!!

I am allergic to alcohol. Almost entrees have alcohol based sauce. So I chose Mediterranean rice bowl. It tasted okay.

I had a great time at Joey DTLA. The food was amazing, particularly the large portion of pasta with chicken. I really liked the ambiance and top-notch service at the bar, but I recommend offering smaller portions of the pasta at a slightly lower price for more options. Can't wait to come back!
