(It's been a minute) and the lovely lady in the counter helped me through It. Open seating and fast delivery. If you are in LAX, this location has you covered.
Very crowded. I just wanted to buy a juice from the front. I had to go to the cashier through the whole line. Thank you, what else I can do while waiting for the boarding! Ambiance? Lol, you can't hear your thoughts, since tables are 10 inches close
Black Friday. Just landed on the return leg from Japan. But turned right around to jump on a flight heading to San Francisco. So, grabbed me a Turkey sandwich at Lemonade to sort of celebrate Thanksgiving (In Japan, I had Kamatoro and Okonomiyaki in place of Turkey). I'm at the LAX Terminal 1 location so I'm not explaining parking. I shouldn't have to. If you're in the terminal, means you're flying somewhere and already secured transportation there or you've paid at one of the lots. Not much to say about the service either. It's sort of like a cafeteria line. Grab what you like OR order from the staff as you make your way to the cashier. The cashier that day must have been having a bad day or was on the tail end of his shift because his demeanor was like a dead fish. Paid and found a table for my friend and I. At least the staff responsible for maintaining the tables were efficient. You're in the airport right off the main walkway from security to the gates. It'll be loud. Pay attention to the time and the airline apps as it's hard to hear the announcements. Also, if you have luggage, keep it near you. No place to store it so you're hands free for your food while eating there. As for my sandwich. I wouldn't order it again. I don't know how long it was sitting in the cooling unit but the breading wasn't soft or fresh feeling/tasting. If the meat was roasted, I couldn't tell. As for the taste standard? Not quite sure how to explain it. It was ok but not something I'm going to rave about or even suggest having unless you don't have any other options. I've been to other Lemonade locations and enjoyed them. This one not so much.
If you're in Terminal 5, Lemonade seems to be the best option. I've eaten here a bunch of times. The service has always been friendly. The line hasn't ever taken too long. And the prices aren't outrageous, which is a refreshing change for LAX food. (It's more expensive than a non-airport Lemonade, but not twice the price or anything like that. They don't seem to have as many options as the non-airport Lemonades, but I've always been happy (or happy enough with the food I get here. I typically get the mango chicken bowl. On my most recent visit, it was very good. In the past, the chicken was occasionally a little dry, but it still seemed better than the other offerings in this terminal. I don't think this airport Lemonade is necessarily as good as the non-airport Lemonades around town, but I'm very glad it exists, and look forward to eating here when I'm traveling through this terminal.
For airport food, this place was decent. I had the classic poke bowl, and it was filling, but not to the point where you'd feel full. The lavender lemonade was good too. But considering the portions and the freshness, which was just okay (the poke was already pre mixed), I'm not sure if it warrants spending over $20. I've had better and more filling poke elsewhere, but unfortunately at this time, the dining options at LAX is pretty much lackluster and this place is one of the better options. The seating is ample, but the place is popular enough that the seating is often taken I had to wait a little bit before finding a seat for myself.
