Noe at the Omni Los Angeles

The food was outstanding. The salmon was so tasty I kind of regretted not ordering it for myself. But the steak I did order was perfect. It was a bit too quiet, though we were there early (6 PM reservation) because we had tickets to a show at The Ahmanson. Maybe it picks up a bit later. Our server was friendly and attentive. The cocktail list was a bit basic so we decided to just do wine. The wine list was fine. I ordered the Franciscan Cabernet Savignon which was served in a white wine glass. That was a bit off putting but the wine was fine. My companion ordered the Whispering Angel rosé and was pleased. Overall it was a nice experience. Would 've been better if the atmosphere was a bit livelier and my wine had been served in the proper glassware.

We read so many good reviews but the service was poor and they gave us the wrong bill. It took so long to solve that we ended up being late for our show at the theaters nearby. If you have many hours free, then timing is fine. Food was ok, but would go somewhere else instead.
