Pinches Tacos - Los Angeles

This place is really good! Had to stay in LA for a few days and this was in walking distance from our hotel. Tried the taquitos and Mexican corn in a cup. The taquitos were great. The corn in the cup coulda used more corn and a little less cheese, Mayo and butter. Still really tasty though. Overall a really great little restaurant.

I liked shrimp tacos but need more a flavor more salt , spices , Lemon and Coriander. also chicken quesadilla, Rice and beans need spices also. I didn't like chips was hard for eating , i was worry about the filings in my teeth , I didn?t like all the sauces were not fresh and ,no salt ,no sour. food was ok but it was not the best Mexican restaurant

Update: we went back and tried the carnitas torta. It was fantastic!!! It has beans, guacamole, onions and carnitas on a toasted roll. It?s pretty big, so you might want to share. Good taco place. My wife got a carnitas burrito. I got a combo, three tacos, beans and rice. My three tacos were fish, al pastor and pollo mole. They were all good, but the al pastor is not my favorite. Chips , guacamole and salsa were good also. Would recommend.

The food was so good. I really wanted the chicken enchiladas so I asked the lady at the cash register and she mentioned them with green sauce. That was the best. Id have to say inwas satisfied when I left. The hubby was very happy with his food too

Really delicious especially with handmade corn tortillas. The aromas ?pop? what is a big indicator or the fresh ingredients. I am glad to have spoken to the owner who has proudly raised children with his family business in the heart of LA
