The Prince - Los Angeles

I can't believe this restaurant is still open and so crowded! It’s been over 27 years since my last visit. The food is overpriced, but perhaps customers are paying for the historic significance and interesting ambiance of the place.

The food here is decent, though not exceptional. It's a good spot for draft beer and fried chicken; I tried the half and half option, which includes half spicy fried chicken and a quarter of fried chicken without batter. The service is standard for an Asian restaurant. The layout and decor are quite unique, providing plenty of conversation starters for a date. However, I would have liked some background music to enhance the atmosphere.

Got free deserts and kind service despite being a noisy and drunk grouo. Appreciate you taking care of us!

Decor is cool and has a fun vibe, but service was terrible. Didn’t have any food so can’t vouch for that, but what we saw looked good. Came in for drinks on a Saturday night around 10pm with a group of 4. We were seated at a table quickly and told to use the button to ring for service when we were ready. We pushed the button, waited several minutes with no response or glance in our direction. 20 minutes later and multiple button pushes with no response, we had to flag someone down just to order drinks. At least once the order was in the drinks arrived quickly.
