Doña María - Los Gatos

This restaurant offers delicious Mexican food and beautiful salsas. The portions are generous, and the service is fantastic! Unfortunately, I wasn't impressed with the chicken dish. The sauce lacked the rich flavors you would expect, even from a standard grocery brand, and it was overly salted, almost as if to make up for its lack of depth. The chicken was boneless, skinless breast meat that had been added to the sauce right before serving, resulting in a bland experience. When I inquired about it, they confirmed that this was their usual method of preparation.

Always excellent and flavorful. The staff is efficient and friendly. Update: Back again on October 22, 2022, and it’s still fantastic!

This is definitely one of the best taquerias in Los Gatos. Instead of the trendy Andale's, opt for this place for a more authentic experience. The food is delicious, and it’s a family-run business. You'll get generous portions for lunch, so it's best to call in your order for a convenient pickup.

Not for the first time this place is total disappointment. I was a decent dish with avocado, but Avocado looks like she's picking up from garbage containers behind Safeway. If you order fish taco, ask twice about avocado sauce.

Always great. Never had a bad meal here, everything is tasty. And they do shredded beef chimichangas.
