Guesthouse Lost River

This place is truly awesome and lives up to its well-deserved reputation. If we ever find ourselves back in the area, it will unquestionably be my go-to spot. The ambiance and views are fantastic, and it's a regret that I couldn't spend more time there. I'll definitely consider staying at the lodge in the future.

Ate here while on vacation with my wife of now 10 years. The owners are friendly and attentive. The food appetizers were perfect along with the main course. The deserts were not up to the main course’s standard, but still tasty. I love thé quiet atmosphere which is great for couples and also liked having local beer options. Highly recommend for a date night, kids are welcome…but I would try and leave them home.

Stayed here and had a great time with friends! The rooms were clean and the service was friendly and good. The restaurant felt a little stuffy and the ‘on your plate’ breakfast threw us off as there were no choices. It was a good breakfast though! The pool was great! The owner/manager seemed very inquisitive about our plans for dinner and lunch, which we thought was a bit odd. Overall, nice place for a getaway but I could wait for another occasion before I return.

What a REMARKABLE getaway. Owners Jesse and Gary put a ton of thought into the design of the space... and just as much effort into how they welcome you into it. Quiet and cozy rooms surround a beautiful pool, a main lodge with a ton of space to spread out and relax in comfort. A small on site hot tub and sauna complete your mountain relaxation. You're welcomed to breakfast with a table set just for you awaiting your arrival... the food at breakfast and dinner is wonderful. If you're on the fence about booking a stay here let this review nudge you into doing it. This is an incredibly special place and the photos don't do justice to the totality of the experience.
