Lough Rea - Loughrea legal town

The hotel had a beautiful spa, providing a luxurious and relaxing experience. The beds at this hotel were incredibly comfortable, providing a restful night's sleep.

Location was ideal for what I needed. Room was nice, but was let down a little by the bathroom. Although clean and modern the lighting was a bit poor and stepping into the bath to shower in what felt like a gym shower head just felt a little a bit dated, and the budget couldn't stretch to more up to date shower kit . The pressure was good and the water set to a nice temp but to be fair it was the old rubber mat that killed me. They're really not the most hygienic of things at all and I don't believe there is any place for them in the hospitality sector a better solution perhaps would've been to coat the tub with anti slip but in the world of health and safety and chancers looking for any excuse to sue I get it. I wouldn't let this stop me from staying again. The food and service was great too which is always a plus.

Lovely hotel. Staff on reception are nice. Bar staff young and distracted. Forgot food we ordered. Not great at pouring pints. Rooms excellent and clean. Breakfast excellent, probably best iv had at a hotel. Breakfast staff were very good.

Absolutely beautiful hotel. The room was huge and view was spectacular. Perfectly kid and family friendly. Also very ideal for a romantic getaway. Staff were great! Breakfast was delicious. The rooftop views and space was great. Ideal for a medium sized event. If back in the area I would definitely plan to stay here again.

My wife and I availed of bed and breakfast at the Loughrea Hotel and Spa on Monday 2nd October, 2023. Ana, the receptionist was very courteous, professional, helpful and friendly when we were booking in. We were allocated a large, bright and airy bedroom on the fourth floor which was spotlessly clean, with a panoramic view of the countryside. The bed was very comfortable and we got an excellent nights’ sleep. The Loughrea Hotel and Spa is soundproof, which makes it very comfortable for guests as there is no residual noise. We had dinner in the hotel restaurant and it was excellent. The restaurant staff were very courteous, efficient and helpful and the food was of a very high quality. At breakfast we received table service and the breakfast was excellent. We got very good value for money commensurate with high standards, excellent service and an ideal location. The Loughrea Hotel and Spa is on the verge of the town of Loughrea, with ample car parking available free of charge. It is ideally located to go for a walk around the lake or browse in the shops and garden centre in Loughrea. It is just a twenty-minute drive from Galway city. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Loughrea Hotel and Spa, and we have no hesitation in highly recommending it as an ideal venue to stay. Well done to the management and staff.
