Very good welcome from the boss. Telephone guidance for access to the room. Garage available. A night spent without a sound in a room located away from the traffic of the main street of Louhans. Clean room, with everything you need to have a pleasant time. Decent breakfast.

Very low game mattresses, the rooms are not in the hotel, but behind in another street.

We were one night on a ride through the north. Safe garage, friendly reception and an excellent dinner at the lovely restaurant. Very affordable prices, modern bedrooms and bathroom over the street on the back of the building. Dinner was absolutely top-class and good value. Breakfast was in another dining room. Much to offer. Ideal for a ride through the night stop, with a beautiful walk through the arched old road only 100 meters away.

As avid Francophiles we have stayed at the Cheval Rouge on numerous occasions as it is one of our favourite hotels in the whole of France. The rooms in the annex are modern, clean and conmfortable and the restaurant is absolutely superb. The quality of...welcome and service is second to none.
