Írjon visszajelzéstI don’t normally write reviews, however, this was hands down one of my best dining experiences. Ever. The food is amazing. Full of flavor with plenty of spice. Family style and shareable is the way to go. The server (who I would guess to be the owner), was extremely welcoming and helpful. Happily explained things we had questions about and full of recommendations. The only, and I mean ONLY, reason I don’t give full five stars on atmosphere, is because I fully believe that this place should be packed all the time. Definitely a hidden gem in the large city. Would recommend to anyone, anytime. 10/10! Also, the baklava is insanely delicious. Don’t pass on dessert.
I love Ethiopian and was excited to try Abyssinia when I was visiting town. This restaurant blew my previous favorite Ethiopian restaurant in DC away. Everything was delicious. We got the lamb tibs with mushrooms, meat combo sampler, and some sambusas. Do yourself a favor and go get a meal here!
This is hands down one of the best places to eat in Louisville, period. Everything you would expect of a great experience is here: excellent service, authentic atmosphere, and absolutely delectable food. Meals offer a wide variety of savory tastes that blend well with each other, and encourage sharing. Portions are incredibly generous and I have found we often have leftovers after a stop here. The staff is attentive and friendly, and make sure we always have a full glass or a fresh basket of bread. And for an experience like this, it is all shockingly affordable as well. Do yourself a favor and stop in for lunch or dinner and try something new. Bring a friend or two, order a combination platter and enjoy the best authentic Ethiopian food in Louisville.
An amazing lunch and dinner location. The service was quick and the server was very friendly and offered great suggestions for food. The food here is amazing and delicious, definitely give this place a visit!
Well, Ethiopian food is not for me, it's too spicy . I'm Cuban and I'm not very familiar with this kind of flavors, we were trying something new for new experiences.
