Down One Bourbon Bar - Louisville

Did not like the food. Service was the only thing good.

Got here a bit early. There was no clear place to check in. I just stood for a while. Finally someone asked if I needed anything. I said a table and he seated me. From that point one it was a fine experience. I had a selections of tacos which were better than I expected. Other than the beginning, it was a fine experience.

Had a great dinner date here with my husband. The service was fast the food was great. The staff was friendly. I definitely will go back

Great atmosphere and bourbon prices were largely fair. I liked the grouping of bourbons by mash bill. While they have an extensive list of bourbons and ryes, many were not available and the bartender acknowledged the list badly needs updating. Even though there were only a few at the bar, wait staff were more focused on chatting with themselves. I was hoping for some expertise and suggestions to try some new bourbons.

Disappointed in this place; it seemed more like a community pool food window then a restaurant on Open Tables....ugh....... food seemed old and stale....drinks overpriced.
